Our Sikhi: Debate Club
Founding Membership closes 8 November. £99/year, locked in for life.
Debate Club

One big question. Real debate.

Every month we pick a theme and hold two live debates. Sikhi meets modern life, plus the topics people avoid at family dinners.

How it works

Big questions deserve better conversations.

01

Hear both sides

Each debate opens Oxford-style, with speakers making the strongest case for and against.

02

Have your say

Then we split into small breakout rooms, so everyone gets a voice, not just the loudest.

03

Vote together

We come back as one room and vote. See whether minds changed, including your own.

This is for you if

You enjoy a good argument, done respectfully
You want to think through how Sikhi applies to today
You would like to listen first and speak when ready

It is not for you if

You want a lecture with one right answer
You are only there to win, not to listen
Everything included

One membership. All of this.

A note from Gurupma

It matters that you develop your own beliefs, question them, and can defend the ones you hold. That takes a safe space to practise. Debate Club isn't here to shame anyone. It's a place to understand, research and build on your own thinking.

Everyone's welcome

Wherever you're starting from, there's a place for you.

Brand new, coming back, or grew up in it. All we ask is that every member follows our sangat guidelines, so this stays a place people want to be.

Read the sangat guidelines
Disagree with ideas, never attack people
Challenge anything. Respect everyone.
Keep it private
What members share stays in the sangat.
No question is too basic
Nobody is judged for where they are starting from.
