Gurupma, founder of Our Sikhi
A note from Gurupma

So many people love Sikh history but feel like they're the only one they can talk to about it. Book Club is that space: our history, the events that shaped us, and Punjabi and Sikh writers worth supporting.

Everyone's welcome

Wherever you're starting from, there's a place for you.

Brand new, coming back, or grew up in it. All we ask is that every member follows our sangat guidelines, so this stays a place people want to be.

Disagree with ideas, never attack people
Challenge anything. Respect everyone.
Keep it private
What members share stays in the sangat.
No question is too basic
Nobody is judged for where they are starting from.

Questions

What kind of books do you read?

Sikh history, the events that shaped our community, and books by Punjabi and Sikh writers we want to support.

What if I have not finished the book?

Come anyway. Half the value is the conversation.

What does "locked in for life" mean?

Your founding price never goes up while your membership stays active. If you cancel, the founding price goes with it.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
